Shown are simulation snapshots and sample structures of the pre-polymers for clay and NH₄Cl obtained from the simulations. Large AA and UU, only, segments are observed in clay while NH₄Cl strongly favors the formation of AU pairs and, therefore, was found to form more uniformly mixed stacks.
