Biodistribution of QDs in various tissues and serum in rats as a function of post-injection time. Rats were injected subcutaneously with QDs at a concentration of 30 pmol/g body weight. The indium content in organs and serum was quantified using ICP-MS using ICP-MS and were expressed as the quantity of indium (in μg) per gram of tissue or per millilitre of blood. Data are mean ± SD (n = 3 per group).
