The predicted 22 amino acid signal peptide, shown by the gray shading, was similar in all piscidins. The prodomains are in boxes. Both the 5’ and 3’ untranslated regions are shown in italics. The polyadenylation signals are bolded. The cDNA sequence for both striped bass and white bass piscidin 3 are the same, as indicated by the label.
