The 3-year survival rates were 33% in patients with AE and 38% in those without AE, while differences were not significant (P=0.084, log-rank test). (B) Kaplan-Meier estimates of overall survival of lung cancer patients with solely IPF divided into those who developed AE (n=4) and those who did not (n=5).
