FTI-277 inhibits EGF-induced H-Ras activation in MDA-MB-231 cells. MDA-MB-231 cells treated with 50 µM FTI-277 for 24 h were exposed to 10 ng/ml EGF for 30 min prior to cell lysis. Membrane fractions and whole cell lysates were extracted and then subjected to Ras activity assay and immunoblot analysis with (A) anti-H-Ras or (B) anti-N-Ras antibodies.
