Miniaturized four-compartment bioreactor for high-density perfusion culture of liver cells.⁶⁶ The bioreactor technology is based on two or more layers of hollow-fiber capillaries, which serve for counter-current medium perfusion (marked in red and blue) and air/CO₂ supply (yellow).
