11-hydroxy-1′-O-methylamentadione (AMT-E) administration attenuate microscopic colon damage induced by dextran sulfate sodium (DSS); this effect is detected in Haematoxylin/Eosin and also in Alcian Blue stain sections where positive goblet cells were more clearly observed in preserved regions of the mucosal layer in mice treated with different dose of AMT-E.
