(A) BM cells (1 × 10⁷ cells/mouse) isolated from Capn6^+/yLdlr^–/– or Capn6^–/yLdlr^–/– donor mice were i.v. injected into x-ray–irradiated (8 Gy) Capn6^+/yLdlr^–/– or Capn6^–/yLdlr^–/– recipient mice. The Capn6 genotype in BM cells from chimeric and nonchimeric mice was determined by a PCR-based analysis.
