The molecule-specific secondary ions are: 12C15N− for 15N-DOPC, 2H− for 2H31-sphingomyelin, F− for 18-F-GM1, and 12C13C− for 13C-cholesterol. See Figs S1 and 2 for more information on the NanoSIMS experiment. Note that GM1 is the only (negatively) charged component.
