Pretreatment the hypopharyngeal tumour (thin arrow) and a right sided metastatic node (thick arrow) are shown (A) T1 weighted image post contrast; (B) apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) map where the ADC was low (primary =0.93×10−3 mm2/s and the node =0.76×10−3 mm2/s). Following chemoradiotherapy there was no tumor relapse in the primary site or metastatic node at 2 years.
