Effect of acute di(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) exposure on estrous cyclicity at 6 and 9 months postdosing. Adult CD-1 mice were orally dosed with vehicle (tocopherol-stripped corn oil) or DEHP (20 µg/kg/day–500 mg/kg/day) daily for 10 days. Vaginal swabs were taken daily for 14 consecutive days prior to the breeding trial (6 months postdosing; panel A) and prior to tissue collection (9 months postdosing; panel B). Percentage of days in estrus and metestrus/diestrus were calculated and compared in each treatment group at each time-point. Graphs represent means ± SEM (n = 4–6 mice/treatment group).
