The location of the 14 hyperactive mutations in the SB dimer. Yellow residues represent mutants in protein-protein interfaces, red residues other mutants. As SB probably forms also a tetramer in certain phases of transposition, the number of residues taking part in protein-protein interactions is probably higher.
