MNK1b aptamers recognize a region between amino acids common to both isoforms and the specific MNK1b region, MNK1bSR. (a) Analysis of the binding of aptamers with MNK1b was performed by ELONA. GST-MNK1b was plated at 0.2 µg/well (3 pmol/well) and then incubated with Bio-apMNK2F and Bio-apMNK3R at 0–40 nmol/l concentrations. The bars represent the mean ± SEM of 4–6 independent experiments. (b) Proteins MNK1a, MNK1b, MNK1aΔ77, and MNK1ΔCt were plated at 3 pmol/well and then incubated with aptamers Bio-apMNK2F, Bio-apMNK3R, and Bio-38x(AG) at 20 nmol/l.
