WT mice and IDO-KO mice were treated with a single CCl4 dosage (1 mL/kg, 10% diluted in olive oil) (n = 5: each group). The control group (WT mice and IDO-KO mice) was injected with olive oil alone (n = 3: each group). The relative expression levels of IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6, CCL2, and PDGF-β mRNA in the liver were measured on day 0, 1, 3 and 6 after CCl4 administration using quantitative real time RT-PCR. The results were normalized to the expression of 18S rRNA. Each column and error bar represents the mean and SEM, respectively, of results for triplicate samples. * indicate statistically significant differences, at P<0.05.
