Results of Experiment 2. Shown is the effect of TMS on response rate under the different drug conditions in Experiment 2. In the placebo case, we see the same effect as in Experiment 1, with TMS lowering the response rate to overlapping stimuli compared with nonoverlapping stimuli. This effect is also seen under the cabergoline condition. However, when subjects took pergolide, we find two effects: an overall suppression of response rate plus an improvement of the response to overlapping stimuli.
