(A) Chemical structures of 4 stilbenoids used. (B) A549 cells were seeded in 96-well cell plate. The cells were treated with resveratrol, pterostilbene, rhapontigenin and piceatannol at the final concentration of 1 μM and 5 μM in the presence and absence of FBS. After three days, the cell viability was determined by total live cell counting. (C) A549 cells seeded in 96 well plates were treated with different concentrations of pterostilbene ranging from 0 to 30 μM.
