The hearing thresholds at each tested frequency (0.5, 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 24 and 32 kHz) and the days at which residual hearing was assessed (pre-surgery and post-surgical day 1, 3, 7, 14 and 28) are represented. The approximate site of insertion and length of the inserted electrode are highlighted.
