Under all temperature and photoperiod treatments, there were no significant differences between the longevity of male adults and that of female adults (P > 0.05). The longevity of melanic adults was significantly longer than that of non-melanic adults at 30°C and 20:04 but shorter than that of non-melanic adults at 22°C and 12:12 (P < 0.01). The same letter represent there is no significant differences in statistics. The capital letters represent the level of 1%, the lower-case letters represent the level of 5%.
