Note the complementary distributions of Fz and Vang proteins. Due to the weakness of the signal on the interfaces between cone cells, Shg (B) and Sqh (F) planar localisation is not represented in (B,F). Similarly the weak PCP signal for Fz and Vang on the interface between equatorial and polar cone cells prevents us from drawing strong conclusions on the planar distribution of PCP proteins on this interface.
