The effects of Psm2 on PI3K signaling. (A) Gel-filtered platelet suspensions were preincubated with Psm2 (0.3 mg/mL), TGX-221 (10 μmol/L) or vehicle, followed by stimulation with ADP (10 or 20 μmol/L), U46619 (3 or 6 μmol/L), collagen (2 or 4 μg/mL) or thrombin (1 or 2 U/mL). The phosphorylation of Akt was detected by Western blotting. (B) The platelets were treated with Psm2 (0.3 mg/mL) or vehicle and then were stimulated by thrombin (1 U/mL).
