rpdApp and rpdMspA bind transferrin receptor 1. ELISA plates were coated with sTfR (2 μg ml−1) or 1% BSA. Following overnight incubation, wells were washed and rpdApp or rpdMspA (5 μg ml−1) added. Wells were probed with guinea pig anti‐rpdApp or rpdMspA, respectively, followed by anti‐guinea pig IgG alkaline phosphatase conjugate. Each test was performed in triplicate wells and on a least three independent occasions. Values represent the mean + SEM from three experiments.
