Shrimp were simultaneously injected with WSSV and PF4 (A), WSSV and Fas (B) or WSSV and IL-22 (C). Twenty-four hours later, the shrimp hemocytes were subjected to caspase 3/7 activity assays. As controls, PBS, PF4 alone, Fas alone, IL-22 alone and WSSV alone were used in the injections. Data are shown as the mean of three independent experiments. Statistically significant differences between treatments are indicated with asterisks (**, p<0.01).
