Plasma osteopontin (OPN) levels of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) patients with each Pneumonia Severity Index (PSI) class (class I, n = 16; II, n = 16; III, n = 23; IV, n = 29; V, n = 9) and different mortality risk (low, n = 55; medium, n = 29; and high, n = 9). Data were presented as the mean ± SD. The statistical difference was analyzed by the Mann-Whitney U-test.
