UAS and lexAop lines are used with GAL4 and LexA, respectively;
also forms some cytoplasmic aggregates even in young flies;
unlike mito::GFP, in which GFP is targeted to the mitochondrial matrix using a sequence from human cytochrome C oxidase subunit VIII, mCherry::mito is anchored on the mitochondrial outer membrane using the Drosophila Miro transmembrane domain.
