Data for modern marine (SA1229A) and old saline (KA3385A:1) cover 1999–2014 and undefined mixed (KA3105A:4) cover 2009–2014. Concentrations are presented as mg l⁻¹, and the isotopic ratio (δ¹⁸O) as ¹⁸O/¹⁶O relative to Standard Mean Ocean Water. Descriptions of the analytical techniques and precision of the chemical and isotopic variables are given elsewhere: Cl⁻ and δ¹⁸O (Mathurin et al., 2012); Na, K, Ca, Mg and NH₄⁺ (Mathurin et al., 2014b); Fe²⁺, Fe total, dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and HS⁻ (Alakangas et al., 2014); NO₃⁻ and NO₂⁻ (Rönnback and Åström 2007); and Mn, SO₄²⁻, HCO₃⁻ and PO₄³⁻ (Mathurin et al., 2014a). The data were retrieved on 17 October 2014 (Sicada-14-047) except temperature (Temp) that was based on values taken in 2011.
