Pro-inflammatory IL-36 agonists, IL-36R and IL-36Ra are expressed mainly in endometrial and peri-myometrial tissue in the estrous cycle. ICR females were killed at each stage of the estrous cycle. Tissues slides were treated with goat anti-IL-36 (α, β, γ, R, and Ra) as primary antibody and anti-goat-FITC as secondary antibody. Immunofluorescence images were taken with a LSM 700 confocal microscope (Zeiss) and processed using LSM 5 Image Examiner software (Zeiss). Magnification = × 20.
