IL-36 cytokines and IL-36R localization in maternal–fetal tissues during pregnancy. ICR females were killed at each stage of pregnancy. Tissues slides were treated with goat anti-IL-36 (α, β, γ, R, and Ra) as primary antibody and anti-goat-FITC as secondary antibody. Immunofluorescence images were taken with a LSM 700 confocal microscope (Zeiss) and processed using LSM 5 Image Examiner software (Zeiss). Magnification = × 20 objective.
