Samples of bFGF were purified from IPTG induced cultures of JM101[pWK3ROmpAd], JM101[pWK311R] and JM101[pWK311ROmpAd]. The assays for mitogenic effects of bFGF on the proliferation of BALB/C 3T3 fibroblast cells were described in Methods. The bioactivities of standard bFGF (==X==), JM101[pWK3ROmpAd] (___▴___), JM101[pWK311R] (---◇---) and JM101[pWK311ROmpAd] (….▪….) are shown. The comparison shows that the bioactivities of the three recombinant bFGF samples and standard bFGF form a superimposed line, supporting that their bioactivities share the same potency.
