Radical scavenging activity measured in natural (NS, panel (A)) and blanched (BS, panel (B)) almond skin before and after simulated human digestion. Values are expresses as mg of sample containing the amount needed to scavenge 50 µmol of the initial DPPH solution (SE50) and they represent mean ± SD of three different experiments. 0 to 6: gastric samples (see Table 1 for sampling time). DD: sample post in vitro gastric + duodenal digestion.
