Scores: 5 for highly motile and thrashing vigorously; 4 for less motile but still thrashing; 3 for a marked reduction in both motility and thrashing; 2 for very sluggish movement, or motility confined to the ends of the worm; 1 for occasional very slow movement; and 0 for no visible movement whatsoever.
