The angiogenic factors increased in the striatum of MSC-EE mice. (AJ) Two weeks after MSC transplantation and exposure to EE, the striatum were lysed and the levels of angiogenic proteins including FGF-2, VCAM-1, MMP-2, HGF, GCSF, EGF, IGF-1, SCF-1a, and Leptin were determined by a mouse-specific ELISA array; (AC) The levels of FGF-2, VCAM-1 and MMP-2 were significantly higher in the right neostriatum of MSC-EE mice than it was in the PBS-CON tissues two weeks after treatment (* p < 0.05 and ** p < 0.01, n = 5, 4, 4, and 4 for PBS-CON, PBS-EE, MSC-CON, and MSC-EE, respectively). In a human-specific ELISA array, most of proteins were not detected. Values represent mean + SEM.
