Measurement of apparent albumin permeability coefficient during the 30‐min period after atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) is applied to the wound before testing the response to thrombin (Fig. 2B). ANP increases the albumin permeability after 10 min in the 24‐h skin wound (n = 12, P < 0.05; Friedman multiple comparison test) to the same extent as previously demonstrated in uninjured skin (Curry et al. 2010).
