Body weights of ApoE⁻/⁻ knock-out mice were less than those of the other groups. ApoE⁻/⁻ knock-out mice were given a high-fat diet and treated with 25, 50 or 100 µg/kg TPL every twice day. Body weights were measured once every week prior to injection. ApoE⁻/⁻ mice without any treatment were used as a positive control (ApoE⁻/⁻ group) and wild-type C57BL/6 mice with the same genetic background were the negative control (control group). *P<0.05 and **P<0.01 vs. the control group.
