•Safety timeouts before surgical positioning, draping, and incision as per institutional protocol •Verify that the operating room staff is aware of and understands the equipment required •Place instruments in the same position to avoid any variability between cases •Position patients in the same way each case to avoid any variability between cases	•A known risk and catastrophic complication is cerebral hypoperfusion •Cervical neuropraxia may result from inadequate padding and malposition of the head and neck •Ulnar neuropraxia may occur from inadequate padding of the elbow •Setup is time consuming and expensive equipment is required
