Comparison of DHLA capped QDs prepared coated with the anti-ricin sdAb C8 via its His-tag (left panel) [20] with the current Bt-QDs conjugated with D12f-L10-RZ (right panel). For both sets of data ricin at various concentration was captured via mAb 5F4 immobilized on the surface of the SPR sensor chip (top panels). The DHLA-QDs gave an amplification >3-fold ricin alone, however the Bt-QDs appear to have a superior on rate >2-fold.
