PTBP1 downregulation protects cells from antitubulin drug-induced apoptosis through MCL1. (a) Annexin V/PI staining followed by Flow Cytometry analysis was performed in PC3 cell transfected with siControl; a mixture of two siPTBP1; a mixture of two siPTBP1 and two siMCL1 or a mixture of two siMCL1 with 0.01% DMSO, 10 nM docetaxel or 100 nM vincristine for 48 h.
