Note: Including 12 states participating in India’s 2010–2013 measles supplementary immunization activity. Analyses use proportional mortality from the Million Deaths study22 and vitamin A effectiveness from the Deworming and Enhanced Vitamin A Trial.21 Lives saved were calculated for the period 2010–2013. Data are based on the 70% compliance scenario (see Table 2) and apply to multiple micronutrients and calcium during pregnancy, and preventive zinc for children.
