HIFα isoform-dependent regulation of the lncRNAs NEAT1 and MALAT1.

Notes: Stable control shRNA (shCtrl), shHIF-1α and/or shHIF-2α knockdown was achieved by exogenous shRNA expression in MCF-7 cells. Following exposure to 20% (normoxia) or 0.2% (hypoxia) O₂ for 24 hours, lncRNA levels were determined by RT-qPCR, normalized to the mRNA levels of the housekeeping ribosomal protein L28, and displayed as fold hypoxic induction. Shown are mean values + SEM of 4–5 independent experiments (*P<0.05, Student’s t-test).
