Training at 6 months of age revealed no genotype differences but a significant main effect of time was seen. Training at 12 months of age demonstrated no significant effect of genotype, although a significant main effect of time was seen. Training at 18 months of age revealed HdhQ111/+ animals made significantly fewer nose poke responses than wild type animals. An overall significant effect of time was seen. Data are shown for a total of 16 mice, 7 HdhQ111+ and 9 wild type. Data are presented as the average number of nose poke responses made by either HdhQ111/+ or wild type mice across each day of testing at each time point. Statistical analyses were performed separately for each testing time point. Error bars represent ± standard error of the mean, * p<0.05.
