Before receiving a 0.1 ml injection of carrageenan (Cg, 500 μg/paw, ipl), rats received saline or Ho FrIII or Ho FrIV (2.5, 5 or 10 mg/kg). Diclofenac sodium (5 mg/kg) was injected s.c. Another group received only saline (s.c.) without Cg.
