Equilibrium thermodynamic stability of Adk. Unfolding of Adk by urea was monitored by recording the CD signals at 220 nm at 25°C. The $\Delta G_{\text{fold}}^0$ and m_fold unfolding parameters obtained by fitting Eq. 1 to the data were 49 kJ mol⁻¹ and 13 kJ mol⁻¹ M⁻¹, respectively, while the determined midpoint of unfolding was at 3.8 M.
