Power spectrum analysis on nucleosome and control data. We observe three periodicities in lengths of 3 nt, 10.5 nt, and 175 nt among nucleosome data. The 3-nt periodicity appears obscure in control data, whereas the 10.5-nt periodicity remains obvious. The 175-nt periodicity is unique to nucleosome data and is almost absent in control data.
