PG fragment release from a meningococcal strain with naturally occurring GC-like AmpG residues 398 and 402 (NM00268). ATCC 13102 and NM00268 were labeled with [³H]diaminopimelic acid, which labels the peptide stem of PG fragments. Quantification of the area under the curve was performed with data from three independent experiments.
