Effect of Taxol and 2-m-AzTax on CET polymerization. Four micromolars chicken erythrocyte tubulin was incubated with 5 µM Taxol or 5 µM 2-m-AzTax for 30 min at 37 °C, in the presence of 1 mM GTP. Samples were centrifuged at 100,000 × g and the pellets were solubilized in sample buffer and resolved by SDS/PAGE.
