Visceral analgesic responses induced by repeated water avoidance stress (WAS) in male and female Wistar rats. (A, B) On day 10 of repeated WAS, decreased visceromotor response (VMR) to colorectal distension (CRD) (visceral analgesia) compared to baseline was observed at both 40 and 60 mmHg in male rats and female rats.
