Th17 and Treg cells are involved in CVB3-induced myocarditis. Male BALB/c mice (n = 20 per group) were infected with PBS or CVB3 on day 0. The frequencies of CD4⁺IL-17⁺ Th17 cells or CD4⁺CD25⁺Foxp3⁺ Treg cells in mice from spleen on indicated days postinfection were analyzed by Flow cytometry (a and c, left panels).
