p53 plays a key role in the process of glycolysis and oxidative phosphorylation, through interacting with various molecules or enzymes, such as SCO2, TIGAR, GLUT1,4, GLS2, PGM and affecting several key biological processes including glucose uptake, glutamine generation and pyruvate conversion.
