Clinico-pathological findings. (A) Axial CT angiogram and (B) pathological specimen show vertebrobasilar dolichoectasia (VBD), with its typical elongation and tortuosity. The basilar trunk is predominantly affected by VBD. However, as in these cases, dilated caliber of the vertebral arteries can also occur.
