CTA retrieval induces memory reconsolidation. Anisomycin (1 μl; 1.25 μg bilaterally) or vehicle control (1 μl; PBS bilaterally) was infused into the GC immediately after CTA retrieval. Twenty-four hours later, animals were subjected to daily testing for 5 consecutive days. We found significant reduction in the aversion toward saccharin in the first test day, confirming reconsolidation of CTA memory.
