Quercetin suppressed the expression of NADPH oxidase subunits (A) and increased the expression of antioxidant enzymes (B) in the epididymal adipose tissue of mice fed a Western diet. Mice were fed a control diet (Control), Western diet (WD), or Western diet containing 0.05% quercetin (WQ) for 18 weeks. Values are expressed as the means ± SEM of nine mice in each group.
